Bettie Page, Queen of the pin ups

As I'm and currently writing up my media essay and casually pulling my hair out. My piece is a 'star theory of Elvis in the 50s' so in my intro, I've compared him and Marylin. Whilst trying to think of other icons, one pops to mind. Bettie Page, now, keeping in mind she was a fetish model/queen of the pin ups. I don't think I can put it in my work, somehow.
       I remember last year in pencil portrait I asked to draw a picture of Dita, (in clothes obviously) and the teacher looked shocked at I knew who she was... Really? So I don't think writing about Bettie would go down too well.


I'm babbling, apologies if anything is inaccurate, I'm not making any sense and its half one in the morning. I need my bed.

My epiphany, so to speak

I think after getting my exam results on Thursday I'm going to start applying myself rather than having the concentration of a tea spoon. For example, I could spend 6 hours on facebook refreshing it or for 6 hours do something useful.
     So, tonight, I'm going to attempt to get my media done. A small thing it may seem but I've built it into a monster for the small fact I don't want to do it. I'm 18, I have to try be an adult now. Sigh.

So many things to do, so little time and effort

I have a list of things I need to get through today and I'm going at turtles pace. I have a bunch of libary books that need to go back on Wednesday and I need to take all the useful things but I have so many books. I may scan the useful parts instead of copying.
     I also have two major pieces of coursework to complete for college which needs to be done within the next two weeks. Yet I have no motivation to do them what so ever.
    Also I have to clean my pit I pass off as a bedroom as I've seen more organised landfill sites. That'll take me all day. If I could have a time turner like Hermione does, life would be so much easier.

New girl with a new blog

So, I made this blogspot/blogger just as I thought it maybe more efficient to have all my 'creative' things in the one place rather all over the place on other social network sites where nothing seems to happen.
     So, what will my blog consist of I hear you say? Well, as I want to go into costume design, I'll put all that on here. I may start 'fashion hauls' or tutorials on how I repair/make certain items of clothing and if I think of anything else, that'll go on here too! So this blog has a theme but not a sole purpose? I think that maybe the best way to describe it if that makes any sense.
